Glow-Up Devotional: Day 5

DAILY GLOW-UP DEVOTIONAL

5/18/20251 min read

God Didn’t Ask for Perfect. Just Present.

Scripture:
“Then the Lord said to him, ‘Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.’” – Exodus 4:11–12 (NIV)

Message:
God didn’t call the flawless. He called the faithful.
And guess what? That includes you—with your hesitation, your flaws, your “what if I mess this up” energy.

Moses tried to disqualify himself from the very thing God had already approved. Sound familiar?

Let this be your reminder: God already factored in your fears and still chose you.
He’s not waiting on your perfection—He’s waiting on your participation.

Show up. Even if your voice shakes.
Write the post. Record the video. Pray the prayer.
God will meet you in motion—not in the mindset of “when I finally get it all together.”

Today’s Glow-Up Assignment:
What have you been delaying because you don’t feel “ready”?
Take one messy, obedient step today.
God doesn’t bless the version of you you’re pretending to be—He blesses the one who shows up as-is.

Send this to a sis who’s stalling on her assignment.
Let her know: God still said go.
